RDA Architects were commissioned to refurbish the complete existing family house. The works ranged from designing a rear extension which also includes a new kitchen to a loft conversion. The bright and minimalistic kitchen opens up into a good size garden. The rearranged open plan layout gives the volume a modern feel and the whole house has gained a very positive and welcoming atmosphere.

The predominant material of the ground floor extension has been metal panels which are also the material used to clad the loft. RDA Architects have achieved with this project which can be classified as a very modern family house in a Victorian shell.
