RDA’s skilful reworking of a large Victorian house included a ground floor rear extension, the conversion of the basement and internal renovation. A lightweight steel frame structure extends into the rear garden taking advantage of an awkwardly sloping garden site. Internally the space has been rearranged and opened up to cater for a large family, creating a contemporary kitchen and new utility area with a separate entrance flooded with natural light.
