Richard Dudzicki Cycles from London to Cannes for MIPIM 2023

Club Peloton is the charity and real estate cycling community transforming the lives of young people. Since 2006, it has given £4.5 million in grants to projects that make a real difference. Cycle to MIPIM is Club Peloton's original endurance fundraising ride that brings together cyclists of all abilities to ride, network and fundraiser. Every year, riders from across the property industry complete the 1,438km challenge from London to Cannes, arriving in time for MIPIM, the leading international real estate fair.

Our director, Richard Dudzicki embarked on the week long cycle in March 2023. The weather wasn’t kind but it was all worth it, as a group they were able to raised over £200k for numerous charities. Richard was able to reach his donation fun target while making lifelong memories and friends over the cycle. From all of us at RDA we would like to thank you  for all the support!

Charities

This was the second time Richard Dudzicki cycled to MIPIM to  raise funds for charities that change young lives. These Charities are:

Cyclists Fighting Cancer

Helping young people living with cancer across the UK regain their physical fitness, improve mental wellness and reduce social isolation by giving them new lightweight bikes, specially adapted trikes, tandems, other equipment and support.

Mutiple System Atrophy Trust

Supporting people affected by multiple system atrophy (MSA) – a rare neurological disease with no known cause or cure. They fund research into MSA and support those affected by the condition.

Thomas Coram Foundation for Children

Finding adoptive families for children in need of loving, permanent homes; helping parents by offering support through their children’s early years or when they become overwhelmed by their own problems and struggle to provide the stability their children need.

The Tom AP Rhys Pryce Memorial Trust

Helping tackle the root causes of violent street crime in London by helping disadvantaged young people see the potential value of their own lives and therefore the lives of others too.

As climate change becomes an increasing threat to our planet and homeowners face soaring energy costs, the ethos of the PassivHaus have never been more relevant. More of us than ever are looking to make our homes more environmentally friendly and simultaneously reduce our costs, which is why we are asked so many questions about how owning a PassivHaus can help. But what is a Passivhaus? and how does it differ from a conventional home? A PassivHaus is a building that provides a high level of occupant comfort using very little energy for heating and cooling, due to its energy efficiency and sophisticated design. According to the PassivHaus trust, buildings are accountable for 35% of total global energy consumption. So, by reducing energy loss in the home and reducing the need to rely on excessive heating and cooling mechanisms, it becomes a positive and essential step in the fight against climate change. Not to mention the advantages to PassivHaus owners. From extremely cheap energy bills to year-round temperature comfort and filtered air, the benefits are clear to see! As one of the UK’s leading PassivHaus design firms, we’re here to answer your top questions about living in a PassivHaus.
