A developer approached us with a challenging infill site, seeking to maximise the value and potential of the scheme. As a practice experienced in complex urban plots, we saw an opportunity to create well-designed homes that make intelligent use of limited space.
Commissioned by the Dulwich Estate, the project delivers a set of affordable two-bedroom homes, giving new families the chance to step onto the property ladder without compromising their standard of living. Designed as modular dwellings arranged over two floors, each home is generously sized and carefully planned to ensure natural light throughout the day—an approach that reflects the principles at the heart of Dulwich Estate housing.
The result is a compact yet high-quality development that celebrates its local context while providing much-needed, thoughtfully designed homes for the community.
